Our Camp
A Family Camp in the Big Woods
Karl, Louise and Ben Lansing, a small crew running the kind of camp they'd want to hunt themselves.
The Story
Forty Years in the Bush
Karl Lansing has guided since the early 1980s, working for outfitters across British Columbia and Alberta before he started guiding whitetails in northern Alberta in the early 2000s. It became a passion, and he and Louise have run their own camp since 2017 with great success.
Karl lives and breathes the outdoors. His main livelihood is wildlife bronze sculpture, and he is also a taxidermist, so the outdoors truly is his life. Louise is the business manager and the camp cook: raising a big family and years of cooking keep our hunters very well fed. Our son Ben is the second guide, and he is just as passionate about hunting and about keeping our hunters happy.
We are a small, intimate camp with only four to six hunters a week. We want our camp to become your camp. Let's go hunting.
